Supplementary Regulations

Central Coast Speedway Kart Club is proud to be holding the 2010 AKA Australian Speedway Kart Titles for the first time at Gosford Showground.

We have some great sponsors backing this event, and some surprises planned for the weekend, so even if your not racing, please come along and soak up the atmosphere ! Remember entry to the grounds for spectators is free !

Due to the significant level of investment of money that is made by the Club for events of this nature, we do require pre-entry and pre-payment for this race meeting.

All visiting drivers please note that Transponders are now compulsory for all AKA race meetings. It must be a Yellow AMB TranX160 model.

Entry Details

$70.00 Rookies & Juniors / Plus $5 Gate Fee per car
$80.00 All Senior Classes / Plus $5 Gate Fee per car

Entry Fees WILL NOT be refunded for non-attendance, or cancellation within 3 days of the meeting, without prior approval from the Club Secretary.

Entries MUST be received with all necessary information (such as Name, Licence No, Class, Kart number, Sponsors etc.) by mail, fax, email, only to the Secretary prior to the closing date. (Contact details, See point 2 of the Supp Regs).

NO verbal entries will be accepted.
Late entries WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED under ANY circumstances.

“P” plate (D Grade) drivers are NOT eligible to compete in any class.

Payment Options

PRE-ENTRY and PRE-PAYMENT are the only method of entry for this event.

Junior - Light 115kg
Junior - Heavy 135kg - (Max kart weight 83kgs)

Senior Clubman Ladies 145kg
Clubman Over 40 155kg
KT Modified - Light 135kg

Formula 100/Sportsman - Light 135kg

TRANSPONDERS Each competitor must have a transponder fitted to their kart as per rule 19.17 (a) & (b). Transponders must be fitted as per rule 25.30.
Timetable Gates Open 6.30am - Saturday & Sunday
Entry Confirmation 6.30am - 8.00am - Saturday only
Scrutineering 7.00am - 8.30am - Saturday & Sunday
Driver's Briefing 9.00am - Saturday & Sunday
Carbie Session 9.20am - Saturday & Sunday
(May be combined into 1st/4th Heats)
Racing 10.00am - 4.30pm Saturday
10.00am - 3.00pm Sunday
Lunch Break 12.00pm - 12.30pm approximately
Presentation 30 minutes after completion of racing on Sunday and removal of the fence

Heat Laps 10 Rookies & Juniors / 12 Seniors
Final / Feature Highest points to front, top 16 only
Final/Feature Laps 15 Rookies & Juniors / 20 Seniors
Pit Spaces
  • All karts shall be accommodated within the Pit/Paddock area only. (Rule 18.12 (1))
  • All cars & tow vehicles are to be removed from the pit/paddock area immediately after unloading. Cars may be parked along the entry road or in a car parking area.
  • There will be NO RIDING of push or motorised scooters, cycles, skateboards, mini bikes or similar apparatus in the Pits / Paddock or Grid areas at any time (disabled persons excepted). Any person or persons operating the said apparatus may have it confiscated and returned to them at the end of the meeting.
  • Animals are prohibited with the exception of nominated security guards dogs or registered guide/assistance dogs.
Onsite Camping
  • Camping is permitted at the track on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th September 2010. (or the alternate rain dates 10th and 11th Sept. if required)
  • A fee of $20 per site is payable to CCSKC at the time of Race Entry Confirmation.
  • Hot showers and amenities are available.
  • Gates may be locked overnight however onsite security WILL NOT be provided.
