Club Championship
The
2009 Club Championship will be run over 9 Rounds (as per Race Calendar) taking
your highest 7 Rounds as the Club Championship points. The Series will run
as per the approved Supplementary Regulations along with the following:
- To be eligible to accrue points for the Club Championship you must be
a current financial Member of the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club. All
Members are required to participate in the Season Roster as allocated.
Not all members will be allocated Roster dates in each season as there
are many more Members than dates and duties available, therefore you may
only be allocated dates every second year where possible.
Abuse
- Abuse and/or swearing WILL
NOT be tolerated and will be dealt with harshly.
- Intimidation and/or violence WILL
NEVER be tolerated and will be dealt with harshly.
Clothing
- Race suits MUST be in good condition with working zippers.
- Closed in shoes must be worn by everyone at all times in the Pits/Paddock,
Grid or Infield.
New
Licence Holders
- All new
Senior CCSKC Licence holders (over 18) MUST complete
a Flag Day PRIOR to
competing at our Track.
Pit
/ Paddock / Grid Areas
- No one is allowed on the Greyhound track. Parents please assist by keeping
the children off at all times.
- Please use the bins provided for ALL of your rubbish. Before leaving
the track, ensure the area surrounding your Pit space is clean and tidy.
- Smoking, welding or use of any open/naked flame, or heating guns /heating
devices, is not permitted in the Circuit, Parc Ferme or Paddock /Pit areas
at any time. (Refer to Rule 17.14 Karting Manual)
Quad
Bikes
Due
to ongoing misuse of quad bikes the following rules will be enforced by the
Clerk of Course at all Race Meetings. This is for the safety of everyone
as do we have a Duty of Care to uphold for Insurance Requirements. Failure
to comply may result in a Penalty being issued to the owner and/or rider.
- Quad Bikes only to be used to push start karts on the track or used in
conjunction with Official Duties.
- They are not to be ridden around the Pit/Paddock Area or used to tow
karts.
- Quad drivers MUST be over the age of 16.
- No passengers are permitted on any Quad unless under direction from the
Clerk of Course only.
- Quad drivers must wear Helmets, Safety Vest and closed in shoes AT ALL
TIMES
Tyres
-
All restricted classes may use any AKA approved dry/slick and or wet
tyre from any previous AKA Manual at CCSKC tracks. Tyres may be hand grooved.
- No 6-inch diameter tyres allowed.
- Burris tyres may only be used in Formula 100/Sportsman classes.
- It is not permissible to tamper with any tyre, to alter its hardness,
construction or composition with any method or agent including the use
of an electric heat gun. (Refer to Rule 23.03 Karting Manual)

WHO DO I SPEAK

CAN I HAVE
SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY ROSTERED ON FOR THE MEETING DO MY DUTY
FOR ME?
- NO.
People already working at a Race Meeting (either on the Roster
or an Official) are NOT
PERMITTED to carry out additional Roster Duties
for other people
WHAT WILL
HAPPEN IF I FAIL TO COMPLETE MY ROSTER DUTY?
- You
will not
be permitted to compete at any CCSKC race meetings until
a Duty is done.
HOW CAN
I COMPLETE MY ROSTER DAY BUT STILL RACE?
- You may have
another person do your Roster Duty for you, but they must
be over 18, but
you have to arrange it and notify our Race Secretary.
CAN I SWAP
DAYS WITH SOMEONE ELSE ON THE ROSTER?
- YES. You
may swap Roster Duty dates with other Members on the Roster;
but you have to arrange it and notify our Race Secretary. WE
WILL NOT ARRANGE IT FOR YOU.
I’M NOT
18 WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M ROSTERED ON?
- Parents or
others over 18 will
carry out the Roster Duty for all competitors under 18.
WHAT DO
I DO WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE TRACK FOR MY ROSTER DUTY?
- Please report
to the Race Office by 8.00am on Race Day. You must wear solid
closed in shoes and a hat for all duties.
WHAT HAPPENS
IF THE RACE MEETING IS POSTPONED?
- In the event
of a Race Meeting being postponed, your Roster Duty will
move to the new date with the Race Meeting.
WHAT DO
I DO IF I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO THE JOB ALLOCATED?
- Written instructions
are available from the Race Office, plus the Clerk of Course
will ensure you are familiar with the requirements for each
job at the Officials Briefing.
WHAT DO
I DO IF I’M NOT SURE I’M DOING THE RIGHT THING?
- If at any
time during the meeting (except during a race) you have any
questions you may contact either the Clerk of Course or Chief
Steward via your radio for assistance
