Fence and Roster Duties
To ensure our club can conduct a race day, and conform to required standards, we need all members to volunteer some of their time to spread the subsequent work load.
By completing your fence and roster duties, you are ensuring a smooth race day, a safe environment, and a successful club.
Please ensure you sign-on for each duty, to ensure we get your roster duty bonus points allocated.
Fence Duty
Rules
This is an essential duty and is part of our lease agreement to be able to race at Gosford.
- A racing class/group will be responsible for erecting and dismantling the fence each meeting as per the club roster
- Erecting of fence to commence by 9am Saturday (day before race meeting) or otherwise advised
- Duty also includes collection and loading of all associated equipment and barriers
- Racing will not commence until the fence is erected satisfactorily
- Presentation cannot commence until fence dismantling is complete once racing has ceased
- If the race meeting your class/group was nominated for, does not take place (due to weather or other circumstances), your duty day will be transferred to another appropriate date
