AKA Accredited Officials
All
Officials do need to do a course each year to stay accredited
in their respective position.
Our
Club is always looking for new people to train for Official positions.
So if you are interested please don't hesitate to contact us. There
is absolutely no cost to you.
You
don't need any special skills to train as an Official, you will
be taught everything you need to know and will work under supervision
of a more senior Official until you are ready to go up a grade,
when you will be able to work alone.
You
need to attend one Training School each year and be willing to
learn to be one of the following Officials.
- Clerk of Course
- Steward
- OLT (Licensing Official)
- Scrutineer
To
make a booking please contact either our President or
Secretary. Contact details.
Volunteers
Another option to assist our Club is as a Volunteer.
It take many hands to run a successful Club and Race Meeting, all of them greatly appreciated Volunteers.
Our Club has many different roles that we are always looking for Volunteers to help out with, some on a regular basis but others can be just on a one-time only basis. We appreciate as much or as little as you are able to do. Basically if everyone was able to give just a couple of hours every now again, it would help our Club to continue and grow bigger and better than it already is.
Most of the jobs don't require any previous experience or qualifications and can easily be learned, so please don't worry about not having the right skills. We are more than happy to teach people who are willing to help out.
If you would like some more information, or would like to help out, please contact either our President or Secretary. Contact details
