As with all Sporting Clubs, our Club is run by an annually elected Committee.
All our Members are strongly encouraged to get involved in the running of our Club. One important way of doing this is taking the time to come along to the monthly Committee meetings. You don't need to take on the responsibility of an elected position, just coming along to the meetings and sharing your ideas and having valuable input, is also extremely helpful.
The meetings are friendly and casual and we are very open to new Members joining in. Don't worry if you aren't able to come to every meeting, just a couple of meetings each year is greatly appreciated.
Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at either Davistown RSL Club, Murna Road, Davistown or Mingara Recreational Club, Mingara Drive, Tumbi Umbi. The dates and location are listed on our Annual Calendar. It is important that they start on time at 7pm to ensure we have enough time to get through the Agenda before the RSL Club closes at 10pm.
The Annual General Meeting is held in November of each year and it is one of the most important Committee Meetings on the calendar for as many Members to attend as possible as this is when the Committee Executive is elected for the coming year.
All currently financial Club Members over the age of 18 are welcome to nominate to take on a role in the running of the Club. If you are interested but aren't sure or would like further information, please don't hesitate to speak to any of the current Executive who are more than willing to answer your questions.
